Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold performed well on Friday holding above $1730 in calm consolidation of the gains. OIL/USD dipped to new month lows near $84 before a sharp rebound above $86 into the weekend.

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold pushed back towards $1730 in Europe yesterday before reversing with the EUR/USD and remains under pressure in Asia Friday. OIL/USD was supported closing near $87 with a short term bottom at $85 encouraging buyers to return to the market.

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold rallied with the Euro but was able to hold onto most of the gains closing at $1720. OIL/USD bounced back to $87 before easing with the rest of the markets during in the US session.

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold retested $1714-18 resistance which held once again and we have fallen back to the familiar $1710 level. OIL/USD remained pressured on rallies and remained on the $85 big figure.
