Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold Broke $1600 as the sharp selling continued for a third day. Crude Oil fell over 5% as the first OPEC move in 3 years saw production increased.

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold continued to slump falling another leg to $1625. Crude bucked the trend of other markets, spiking higher to above $100 a barrel on rumors of Iran military excercises.

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold fell heavily breaking below $1700 and falling $50 on the day as longs bailed out of the precious metal. Crude Oil fell in sympathy with Gold and stocks only finding tentative support under the $98 a barrel level.

Oil & Gold (XAU) Gold was cautious in a tight trading range supported by the demand for alternative investments but hurt but risk off trade. Oil was able to recover slightly from Thursday’s sell off back above $99 and looking to retest $100.
